Re: Toon app: ToonStore

Re: Toon firmware - update script
So after a lot of time I found out the password of my 'dev' Toon (took me half a year to find the password again). I never had the guts to update my 'production' Toon. So now I want to update the Dev version. What is the best way to do this? I ran the script and it says I am on version 4.4.21. How c...

Re: Toon firmware resource file (as from 4.16.8)
My toon is at firmware 4.16.8 Bought it from a member here, and the resource file was already backed up, but didn't have the TSC tab in settings. So I updated it to the latest version on the download page. But after restarting the screen has a strange spacing between items (/boxes). Resulting in the...

Re: Toon firmware - update script
so it has been some time that I looked at my rooted Toon (1-1.5 years I guess ).
So I wonder if I should upgrade or not. What are the benefits of upgrading?
And how safe is the script? Still needed to check things after an upgrade?
Can I just upload the script to Toon and run it by using SSH?

Re: Toon app: ToonStore
Dear pkaak, Could you please check the contents of /HCBv2/config/hcb_project.xml (version 3.x.y firmware) or /qmf/etc/qmf_project.xml (4.x.y firmware) ... I am missing a part in the pre-install sequence of your installation, which is quite crucial for the toonstore to function properly. Maybe you p...

Re: Rooting Toon (or boxx)
Just a wild guess: Is your toon connected to the service center? If not (anymore), it could be that this low/high tariff information is taken from Eneco. After all, it has to do with the type of contract that you have. Toon is disconnected from Eneco. But in the one that is still connected it shows...

Re: Rooting Toon (or boxx)
My Toon is rooted with (a lot of) help of a member here. Now I noticed that my old Toon connected to Eneco have an option at the 'meters' in the settings to select the time for the low rate (daluren). That is gone in the one that is rooted. If I remembered correctly that options also was shown in th...
