And in fact, the script won't let you update past 5.0.6 first. So just use the script and it will fix it for you.

I have a never used Toon (from 2017) running software version 3.2.18. So the Toon has never been activated. I was able to root it with the rooting script and I have SSH access. I guess the next step is to update the firmware with the update script, but what is the right order? Can I update to the la...

I finally got the OpenOCD software correctly installed. I could not get it to work if I follow the instructions from the readme of martenjacobs on GitHub. Thanks for the quick reply. It appears that OpenOCD is missing an interface: bcm2835gpio. However I did enter the --enable-bcm2835gpio \ line.
