Re: Negative relative modulation level
Your boiler is sending invalid data. My point of view is that OTmonitor should show that. It will be hard to understand what's going on if OTmonitor would just silently replace bad values with fake data. I also doubt that a relative modulation level of -98 actually means 98%, given that your boiler ...

Re: Missing Values
I have set UI=57 because this value never changes and I don't need to know it. To my surprise, it just comes back. Am I doing something wrong? The UI=57 command is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. First occurrence: 12:02:06.472748 T00390000 Read-Data Max CH water setpoint (MsgID=57): 0.00 1...

Re: Missing Values
You have to enter some UI commands to give the OTGW some opportunity to send the IDs you added as alternatives. It doesn't matter if you do the AA commands first, or the UI commands. I'm sorry, I can't explain it any better. It's not that complicated in my mind. But that may be because I know how I ...

Re: Missing Values
As explained on the web site, the OTGW takes advantage of messages the boiler does not support to obtain additional information. The OTGW learns which messages the boiler does not support by looking for Unknown-DataID responses. At least in the short piece of log you provided, no Unknown-DataID resp...

Re: Missing Values
This indicates that your boiler is able to provide more information than your thermostat is requesting. You can instruct the OTGW to request this information for you instead, using the AA command with the message IDs for the relevant parameters: AA=28 Return water temperature AA=26 Domestic hot wate...

Re: Open Therm Gateway PCB in parallel over the PCB of the Evohome
Opentherm is a point to point protocol. So you cannot connect things in parallel. But you can use both an Opentherm thermostat and the OTGW by connecting them in series. In case of the Evohome thermostat that means: Connect the cable from the boiler to the boiler connector of the OTGW. Then connect ...

Re: OTWG hangs up
Your description is much too vague to be able to provide any useful suggestions. You say the LED stops blinking. But the link shows the green LED blinking all the way to the end of the video. The video also shows that no thermostat is connected to the OTGW. Without a clear description of the problem...

Re: Geen firmware upgrade mogelijk

Re: Geen firmware upgrade mogelijk

Re: Geen firmware upgrade mogelijk

Re: Infrequent room temperature measurements
The OTGW reports the information it receives from the thermostat and boiler. It does not make up values or report old data. So it must be that the Lyric T6 is reporting the same temperature for long periods of time. I have no idea why a thermostat would do that. Sometimes battery powered RF thermost...
