Re: Roomba control true homeseer
Do you have a document called "IRTrans TCP ASCII Schnittstelle_DE.pdf" (I see now I missed an I). It shipped with the IRTrans IIRC, or maybe you can find on the IRTrans website. This document explains it all. I read the "IRTrans TCP ASCII Interface_EN.pdf" file but can't figure ...

Re: Roomba control true homeseer
I use the ASCI Interface of IRTrans, maybe Homeseer does it a different way? How do you put irtrans in ASCI mode/interface? Checked the manual but I guess I must be overlooking something. I have an Irtrans ethernet (LAN) module with latest driver from irtrans site running on a Win 7 system. Tnx aga...

Re: Roomba control true homeseer
Tnx for your help guys! Tried Digit his file and checked out homeseer and irtrans forum but sadly enough still no homeseer control. Seems like IR control is not done that much. Think I will buy the Roomba IR remote. If I find another solution I'll post here for future reference.

Re: Roomba control true homeseer
Tnx for your help guys! I'm mainly focusing on trying to use the "clean" button. Tried to edit the hs2_signals.rem file with no success (tnx for the tip!). Am I adding it correctly? (see below, position 12, CCF normally isn't used here). Anyone had any success controlling Roomba through ho...

Roomba control true homeseer
Bought a Roomba 530 vacuum cleaner this weekend and tried to control it through homeseer. Checked this forum and many others (irtrans, homeseer etc.) to get me started but did not find much info. Found the Roomba pronto codes (see below) but sending these with irtrans doesn't seem to work. Homeseer ...

Re: Express Controls EZ Motion PIR goes balistic..
Never heard of eneloop batteries before, but it seems like a very logical and good alternatief to regular batteries. Tnx for the tip Alexander!Alexander wrote:If i can make a suggestion: Buy batteries which aren't drained fast. These aren't expensive (Sanyo Eneloop) : http://www.samenkopen.net/action/575523

Re: Express Controls EZ Motion PIR goes balistic..
Well that is not good, new Zwave devices should not have this behaviour when battery drops below a level. It should stop working. the old X10 MS13 has a same kind of problem. The other unit stopped working indeed, but the battery indicator in homeseer shows a 54% battery life  Ah well, I gues...

Re: Express Controls EZ Motion PIR goes balistic..
Update: Spend about 20 hours on this problem. Messed up my homeseer devices and events big time trying to find the problem. Guess what... changed the batteries, problem solved! Lesson learned: The battery indicator from your devices in homeseer cannot be trusted! (54% and 61% in my case) :o ...

Re: Foscom Wireless/Wired cam
I have this cam without the foscam logo on it :| Firmware that was installed on the device is outdated but updatable. Daytime view is decent but nighttime snapshots and video is very blurry. Integrated them in hstouch (as picture output not stream) which works fine. Still looking for a way to connec...

Express Controls EZ Motion PIR goes balistic..
I have two Express Controls EZ Motion 3 in 1 Multisensor PIR's in my house. About three weeks ago one of those units starts going berserk with motion detection (detects motion all day long even when there's not, only switches to "off" for about 2 seconds and detects motion again). This uni...

Re: QEES planned products.
The planned products indeed look nice. My biggest problem with the entire home automation products is that you cannot mix the various modules unless you are willing to live in a house with a mishmash of styles. Perhaps this is a little bit off topic here, but I wonder how the other members of this ...

Re: disable/enable event script?
