RFXtrx433 with kaku asun-650

Postby Boottie » Thu Aug 09, 2012 11:29 am

Is it possible to have multiple tablets (android) for RFXtrx433 usb and KAKU switch. So yes, with software I use for all tablets (samsung galaxy)?
I have read that KAKU 1-way is , that it's better that I use a VERA system (2-way). Please some clarifications , thanks.

Connect the RFXtrx433 to a server with Home Automation software.
On this page you will find a list of software that supports the 12103 RFXtrx433 transceiver http://www.rfxcom.com/supported_sw.htm
Connect the tablet to the HA system with a dedicated program like HSTouch for Homeseer or using a browser.

KAKU is 1-way and works correct for normal use.
For security or life treathening control like door openeners and heater control it is better to use a wired or 2-way connection.

So if I switch on my tablet in the kitchen a lamp on. All the other tablets give visual that the lamp is on? So they are alle conected to each other?
And on all tablets must a install HSTouch? Or is it 1 computer with Homeseer and multiple tablets with HSTouch on?

You install Homeseer on a server and you can install HSTouch on several other systems/tablets/iPhones.
The device status is automatically updated on all connected HSTouch screens.

Conrad have some nice zotac models. It's a full time job searching the internet for the right components and info :)

How can I find the code for my ASUN-650 because I have no remote to send a code to the ASUN-650? And the ASUN-650 is self learning.
With the rfxtrx433 is a option AC for self learning , but how can a use it?

Use a KAKU remote and pair this remote in addition to the HS control.
Now you are able to control the ASUN with HS and the remote (if this is your question)

With a remote I need it to service the blinds. But now a have switch near every blinds in the wall. When I change every switch with a KAKU ASUN-650 I have no switches in the wall. So a must
services the blinds with homeseer for manuel up or down. It's sometimes easier to have a switch nearby every blinds also. I have looking on the internet for some switches to communicate with homeseer
as well (2-way). Duwi have some switches but maybe there are others brands that some users have positive experience with.
