Do anybody know about CO2 RFXComm sensors?

Hi,

These are hard to find, At least I have not found them yet.
But there is a way to do it, i have use an old CO2 sensor that have a 0-10Vdc output signal that i have connect to a RFXsensor.
The RFXsensor have a A/D input that can measure this voltage and send it to the (in my case) Homeseer environment.

I suggest to messure CO. Messuring CO2 will give a lot of alarms

Why do you think that?
I messuring the CO2 to control the home ventilation so the air is fresh and clean.
When you have CO you have a bigger problem, something like fire

CO2. I would like to push fresh air when CO2 limit is triggered.

I know, I have survived sleeping in rooms with bad air, but when I first starting in into smarthouse solutions, why not?

I'm using a Hanwei MG-811 for sensing CO2. It needs 6V at around 200mA (for the heater) and a very high impedance buffer and then it will give you an output of roughly 500-300mV for CO2 concentration of 350-10000ppm

You could feed that output after you've buffered it to an RFXsensor.

Visonic has a CO2 sensor at approx 130euros.
But you would need the Visonic addon to the RFXcomm as well and this is only for the LAN version available and not for the new USB unit.
Besides that I don't know if the Visonic sensor will report levels or just trigger an alarm at a certain level.
