I've spent some (many) hours digging around to find out using Domotiga for my home automation/monitoring setup. Looks to be the tool for me
All this is done using SNMP; which I have noticed is something people in the Homeseer forum have been tinkering with but I couldn't find much for Domotiga. Not to be put off (while I was waiting for my access to this forum to be turned on) I got hold of some of the source code for a network tool written in Gambas and had a look through the code to work out if I could port it across to Domotiga; doesn't look too scary except that all of the comments and quite a few of the variables were in French...as you do.
Before I get told off for coding (instead of fixing the boiler) has anyone had any luck with getting SNMP data into Domotiga. I can supply OiDs for some devices (initially after interface throughput) and I'm happy to test anything sent my way.
NB: I'd love to get coding but I also don't want to tread on toes - what's the "right" way to go about asking for a feature/starting to code a feature. I certainly don't want to upset a dev when this is a very fine piece of work already.
Thanks for reading
