Popp/Duwi dimmer nervous light

Postby Alexander » Mon Nov 02, 2009 10:09 pm

After contacting ezHome i got the message that my "problem" wasn't known. I've to say that these products works very good. Better than Xanura!

What is the "problem": My lights are flickering sometimes. I promised to contact ezHome when it happens often and write the details down (dim level/time/etc.).
But this evening a thing happened and i was wondering if somebody did noticed this by his own setting: At exactly 19.00 hour my lights did flicker again but in a interval like it was a process on the electricity network.

Does somebody have the problem? Maybe at an interval that is exactly by the hour? BTW: Dimlevel was at 50% and it are normal lightbulbs connected to the dimmer.

Seems a bit like this topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3268

Are there any other users with this symptom so I can contact Duwi and try to find out what it could be and how this can be solved.

I have exactly the same issue and was about to mail ezHome when I saw this topic. I'm not 100% sure, but it seems that the flickering is in sync on all lights that are on at that specific moment. It looks like it takes about 5 to 10 seconds and then it stops again. I'll keep an eye on the clock when it happens and will report in this topic. I'm living in Woerden (near Utrecht) by the way.

UPDATE: I just saw it again at exactly 12:15 (4 nov 2009)

@ehHome: Can you contact Duwi with this current findings? I'm very interested if they have a solution like a DIN filter.

Who has the same in-wall dimmer and a plug-in module from Duwi/Popp, this to make sure if it is just the in-wall or also the plug-in device what has this issue.

I only have in-wall dimmers. I noticed it again today at 19:00 and 20:00. It looks like it only happens during whole or half hours.
