Hi,

I have found on the internet that in the Roomba 500 serie a Zigbee interface is token for the RF control. link
Now i'm not yet in to the Zigbee so here my question, is it possible to connect it to Homeseer and is there someone how thit it.
Grtz,

In a few months we'll have a Roomba here, and i'm definitely going to try to get this Roomba under my control :D
There's enough information on the net to give it a serious try, based on Arduino & ZigBee.
With both ZigBee & Arduino i've done some experimental things, which resulted in ZigBee controlled LED strips and Arduino/Jeenode based pressure sensor over ZigBee actively being used as we speak. Homeseer Plugin isn't new to me either, so who knows...

For now i'm searching what for protocol is using between the Roomba and the RF transmitter, but unfortunately it's not really a Zigbee protocol.

ZigBee can be used for wireless transport, it's not the protocol used by the Roomba itself.
With 2 Zigbee modules it's very easy to set up a wireless RS232 connection.
Compare it to using ZigBee to wireless control Chromoflex modules, or.. well, whatever you like.
