And what I like most is this text, that's what makes it really interesting:
We’re developing for developers
You’ve probably realized by now that hue can do some pretty amazing things with light. But we’ve only just scraped the surface. And that’s where we need developers like you to get involved and really bring hue to life.

Later in the year we plan to release a wealth of developer tools – from parts of our bridge interface to some ‘how to’ guides – so you can get hands on with hue. We’re also working on an iOS and Android SDK, to make coding and linking to hue a breeze.

So if you want to make a new app, a game or even just a bit of fun with light, we’ll provide the tools if you come with the inspiration.

If you’ve already got a great idea bouncing around in your head then get in touch. And if it’s really cool then we might even promote it to the hue community.

Looks nice!
No tech info found on the ledlights?
Multiple ways to control, via zigbee, or web
You have create an account again for controlling though.......

Pieter,

How is the white compared to things like warm white LED strips, normal bulbs, and RGB LED-strip "white"?
I am considering putting some of those in lights in the livingroom to replace normal lights (next to the LED-strip which are used for ambient light).

Greetings,

Gijs
