I read last week that delivery is delayed, caused by CE label issues?

I just got an email from farnell to pre-order. Est. delivery time 135 days. No idea if that is reality.

Just got an update from Farnell:

Having successfully passed its CE compliance testing, we can now confirm that your Raspberry Pi will be delivered by the end of June.

HouseAgent runs fine on it, I will post a blog about it soon!
It's not to hard, python is already in the base image you just need to add a few libraries.

Bumping an old topic, i actually got one too. Dont know if its a different model but at least the latest one. Came with housing cable and adapter for only 66 euro's!

Now the good part is that i actually use this with xbmc and play 1080p mkv movies from it. Sure it doesn't work as fast as a normal beefy machine but it does the job just fine for a kitchen or bedroom :)
Since i have openelec on it, it comes with hdmi-cec. If you have a television which supports cec (has a different name per tv brand) then you can just click on "hdmi" on your t.v. it will then start the box (if its not already started since it only uses 5 volt) and after that you can "re-use" your remote control of the tv to send commands to xbmc. So in my case my samsung remote becomes my xbmc remote!

And if you turn of xbmc, it turns the t.v. off too. You can also just hook up a usb port from your t.v. to power the rasperry.
