Negative relative modulation level

Post by dwd »

Hi,
I have a Nodo OTGW with Immergas Victrix Tera 28 boiler.
I can see negative relative modulation level sometimes.
Its possible its 98% and need abs() function to be used?
Thank you!

Your boiler is sending invalid data. My point of view is that OTmonitor should show that. It will be hard to understand what's going on if OTmonitor would just silently replace bad values with fake data.

I also doubt that a relative modulation level of -98 actually means 98%, given that your boiler water temperature is already several degrees above the control setpoint. So the boiler should definitely not be heating at a power level near to its maximum.
