Status of a device

Hi

For some reason I cannot update the status picture in HSTouch panel for a plugwise device.

I have a graphic which is linked to the status of the device: for ON status I have one specific picture, for OFF another one.

I have noticed that the HSTouch Interface can not detect the status, so no picture is shown.

When I go to the plugwise device properties in Homeseer I notice that the status is set correctly, but the device is configured as a non supporting status device

May this be the cause of the problem?

Did you select a device in the StatusTrackingNormal / ... Pressed field ?

Yes, It is assigned to the plugwise device that I want to control

BTW, although with other devices (X10) I have the available option "Toggle ON/OFF" in a button for a device, I do not have this option for the plugwise devices. Any ideas?

Did you leave the appearance/text field empty ... Just play a bit around it is not always intuitieve or does it work with other devices (non-plugwise)

The current released version of the Plugwise plugin does not support the toggle option provided by HSTouch. This has been mentioned numerous times on this forum. THe upcoming release of the plugin, within a few weeks, will support the toggle option.

What i did to get this screen:


I changed the "default" status symbol in the folder: C:\Program Files\HomeSeer HSPRO\html\Images\hspi_Plugwise


Now it is possible to use this status symbol in HS and HSTouch:

I think I 'll wait for Rene to change this in the plugin
