Hi all you LED & DMX fans,
I've been doing some experimenting with RGB LED spotlights, DMX and Arduino lately. Right now I'm able to control a bunch of RGB LED spotlights over Ethernet with relatively little effort; the Arduino part of it has been stable since I started using it so that's a big relief, but getting the LEDs to produce the right colors is something I have to work on by doing some more research before I can install the LEDs where they belong...

Re: Inground RGB LED spotlights
Nice setup!
I don't have much time and patience to work on Arduino things, so I choose an Xdimmer-3HP which I will be controlling through the new LanBox-LCP which hopefully be available next week. So for now I use my IRtrans to control the Xdimmer-3.
If I would have a garden I would probably buy the CLS CAS3 RGB flood spots which Romar has on sale (see http://www.domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6605). So my setup is for inside.

Nice project,
are you digging them in or place them in a tile ?

In the ground, so we won't trip over

Update:
I made some progress today; the weather was too good to stay inside, so I did some tests in the garden this evening.
I had a really nasty issue with controlling the LEDs though, but nothing that can't be solved.
However, the looks are really good if I my say so...
