Yes, according to Nefit tech support this converter enables other brands to adjust the Nefit system by modulated control.

im very curious where they come up with?
I have been complaining for years now at Nefit and finally....

its only for top, pro and base line. most (like I) have the smartline?
also will probably only work on new Hvac systems (model > 3-2012)
So dont get your hopes up first see what the interface can do, nefit knowning it will be very limited!

Yeah very good News I've sent yesterday an email to nefit asking if my smarline would work with the converter and this is what i've got this morning for reply:

Geachte heer Garcia,

Ja dat is mogelijk, deze EMS-OT converter is speciaal op de markt gebracht om thermostaten zoals de E-thermostaat op de Smartline en andere Nefit toestellen aan te kunnen sluiten.

So for the non dutch people its specially made for all the Nefit models to work with so that's a good option for less than 50 euros

de convertor works very bad.
i sent a mail to nefit and their reply was:

Geachte heer,

Fout-en cause codes
De Nefit fout-en cause codes worden niet op de OpenTherm® kamerthermostaat getoond. Wil u de foutcodes of ‘Installatie bijvullen’-melding op de kamerthermostaat getoond krijgen, dan is de Nefit kamerthermostaat de beste keuze.

Ons advies luidt:
Gebruik bij voorkeur een Nefit ModuLine thermostaat. Deze thermostaten hebben met een Nefit ketel het meest optimale modulerende regelgedrag, omdat ketel en thermostaat optimaal op elkaar zijn afgestemd.

i am glad i didnt buy this converter, i ll wait if something new comes up from nefit else remeha.

why is the other converter thread closed ?
