Hi,
Next spring we are doing some rebuildings in our home.
One of the things that I would like to add, is a distributed video system.
I'm looking for an HDMI matrix that has (at least) 4 inputs and outputs and transmits over CAT-cable.
Does anyone of you have experience with this matter ? I've read a lot about Monoprice, but reliability seems to be an issue there ...
Love to hear your comments !

Re: HDMI matrix
a few days ago i was looking into a extender for a customer just simple video extension etc.
And i found this :
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1080P-W ... 0d7e424a03
it looks like you can connect ti to a router/network and pick it up somewhere else in your network and stream the image.

Re: HDMI matrix
That one is a bit confusing since it says wireless but it doesn't seem to use WiFi

Re: HDMI matrix
i bought the kit, we shall see.
its not wireless , and nor do i want it wireless since i have a ip camera on my network that i "made wireless" by using a AP that i set as a client.
We are using ubiquiti here as AP system but after 3 weeks the whole network was acting strange.
its a 5MP cam so it was using some data 24/7/x and still managed to wreck the wifi network.
Or maybe the modem was having problems with it.

Re: HDMI matrix
If you can't explain in English then do it by a drawing
but it seems to go over lan and over and over.
