Toon app: SpotEnergy (former Easyenergy)
Release 2.0.1 of the spotenergy toon app which provides insight of the hourly tariff based on APX/EPEX spot prices from https://www.apxgroup.com/market-results ... dashboard/
Some electricity providers deliver his customers with hourly tariffs at energy trading rates (purchase price). Their only income is the per month member fee. This makes their product very smart grid ready and really fun for some people to try to match their energy demand to the hourly energy price and hopefully pay less eventually this way.
This app provides a quick glance of the hourly spot electric price for the current hour. It also shows the expecting price for the next couple of hours and tries to advice when prices are high and when it is low. So you can choose when to start our dishwasher, do the laundry or heat up your electrical boiler.
The app includes a (virtual) alert device in domoticz based on the tariff value. Within domoticz you can use this to switch on/off equipment or other things.
The app is available in the store.
Since 2.0.0 the app is called SpotEnergy as it reflects the soure of the prices better. Before it was called EasyEnergy (as the energy provider delivering hourly prices to consumers) but now there are a few more doing the same.

Re: Toon app: Easyenergy
Looks good! Too bad i still have a classic energy meter.
Re: Toon app: Easyenergy
If you want a smart meter for free just announce that you are planning a PV installation soon at https://www.energieleveren.nl/klaphekje wrote:Looks good! Too bad i still have a classic energy meter.
They will check if you can return electricity and if you don't you will get a free replacement in two weeks or so.
You never need to show any forms that you are about to buy the PV installation. After they installed the meter, just cancel your plans for the new installation at the same site and you are done.
Only works if you have a real 'old' meter not capable of counting return energie. There are some meters which can count that but still don't have a P1 port.

No need to do that. They will replace my meters between march 1 2018 - june 30 2018. I can wait.TheHogNL wrote:

Re: Toon app: Easyenergy
Thats nice to know! I'ts an analog meter (ferrarismeter), i'm not sure if it can rotate backwards. However my region is also planned for April next year. I'm sure i can wait a bit longer. If you want a smart meter for free just announce that you are planning a PV installation soon at https://www.energieleveren.nl/

Re: Toon app: Easyenergy
And release 1.1.1 is ready. Forgot to add VAT to the easyenergy tariff. Now fixed.
1.1.1

- energy tax, enviroment tax (Opslag Duurzame Energie) and VAT are now
seperate configurable
- tariff received from EasyEnergy is without VAT, so include VAT when
configured

Re: Toon app: Easyenergy
Release 1.2.0 just posted in the first post.
1.2.0
- set alert device in domoticz depening on tariff high or low
- small bugfix regarding setting lookback hours settings save
- rewrite of load/save settings code, now saved in json format
With this release the tariff value and the tariff status (high/low/below median/above median) is pushed to a domoticz alert device.
The alert device will be green if the tariff is low, yellow if the tariff is below the median, orange if above, and red if high.
Based on this status you can now start your events in domoticz. I now have it turn off or on my heatpump heat side and boiler side depending on the tariff. Also settings the boiler set-temperature higher when the tariff is low (so that the boiler is used as a kind of energy buffer).
New plans to add solar input from the solar app to the tariff status. When the solar is generating more then the house is demaning (delivering to the grid) the tariff is virtually low also. However this can be very erattic during cloudy days so not sure how to go on with this yet.
