New Xanura phase coupler/repeater FKX40

Hi all,

There's a new phase coupler/repeater for Xanura on the way. Most interesting will be the new price tag (which is supposed to be lower) and the fact that it is (finally) a DIN module for rail mounting.

Announcement (in Dutch):

"Introductie nieuwe fasekoppelaar/repeater XanuraHome

Per 15 oktober introduceerd Eaton Holec de nieuwe XanuraHome Fasekoppelaar/repeater, FKX40. Deze module maakt het mogelijk om in een drie fasen installatie de Xanura Home commando's die via n fasen verzonden worden, door te koppelen naar de overige twee fasen. Deze module vervangt de huidige fasekoppelaar FKX.

Voordelen en eigenschappen van de fasekoppelaar/repeater FKX40

* Compacte uitvoering in DIN-modulaire behuizing, 72 mm breed
* Koppelt actief XanuaHome commando's naar drie fasen, signalen worden versterkt doorgekoppeld
* Statusindicatie d.m.v. LED's
* Verbeterde prijsstelling"

[Update: recommended retail price seems to be EUR 270,- ex. VAT (as opposed to EUR 445,- ex. VAT for the old FKX). Street prices will be lower.]

Great device, I'm running it for a while now on Bwired and as told before my 3 fase powerline has no problems any more. Also combines great with SVX10 version 2 mentioned in the PMIX35 manual.

Ah, so that's the secret to your setup combining a phase coupler/repeater with additional SVX10 repeaters?

I already thought your silence on this matter in

was kind of suspicious ;-)

I understand that you are probably tied by an NDA, given your beta-tester status for Eaton, but maybe if you could just lift a tip of the cover: extra repeaters (v2) in combination with the new phase coupler/repeater are now officially supported?

Sorry that was not on purpose, missed it somehow?.... and I mean that :-)

In the new manual of the PMIX35 is the SVX10 v2 mentioned and yes it works smoothly together with the new phase coupler.

Naast het esthetische aspect is ook de firmware geheel vernieuwd waardoor de FKX40 ook in combinatie met n of meerdere XanuraHome SVX10 signaalversterkers toegepast kan worden.

Is het toevallig ook nog de bedoeling van Xanura om een nieuwe sperfilter SFX40 te maken.

Zo ja gaat dit ook weer 1 jaar duren, of is die er op kortere termijn.

Does anybody know how to program the FKX40 with the PMIX35.
The FKX40 is not in the list of the PMIX and my fkx40 has L2 and L3 switched off/ or defect but I need to check first.

As far as I can remember you can't use the PMIX35 for that. You will have to use the buttons on the device. It should be mentioned in the manual.
