I bought a (secondhand) Visonic repeater. According to the specs it repeats 868 and 433 signals.
On my Visonic alarm system I can see the improvement. Also HS seems to receive all 868 device very well now.
But I don't see an improvement in reception of my Oregon devices.
My guess:
The repeater is probably only made to transmit 'real' visonic packets, anybody more knowledge about it?

Yes, I'm sure that it will only repeat Visonic signals.

Bastiaan,
Correct, Visonic only. I have one as well. One artefact I noticed - besides the enormous amount of Visonic packets that are transmitted (original transmitter + repeater) - is that HS might receive a Normal packet from the original transmitter after an Alert of the orginal transmitter, followed by a delayed Alert from the repeater and a Normal from the repeater. This might cause events to trigger *twice*. So take care (and set the "can't retrigger for n seconds" option if needed).

Right Lennart!
I have the repeater as well, there is a delay for some seconds and status comes in twice for devices in well in range!
Not very handy for fast switching devices like toilet flush, wastebasket and opening and closing doors

OK thanks everybody for the remarks, hsd no problems so far but will check all events on triggers. I do see RFXCOMplugin filter out many duplicate packets. (I have also two receiver units)
