a bit more detail will be required..........
what have you done so far ?
which hardware ?
which version of openwrt ?

did you manage to transfert the ipk file to the router ?
did you manage to intsall them ?
are you trying to recompile the file (probably the hardest part)

so I may help you, but I need details

I install this version of openwrt:
openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr703n-v1-squashfs-factory.bin

Any other details?

installing luci is not the best thing to do, it use some memory and you only have 4MB of memory.

Use putty to connect and have a shell to the router (but you probably already knew this)
and the magic program to transfert file is "winscp" it enable file transfert over an ssh connection (you can even import your session from putty)

copy the ipk file to /tmp (/tmp is a ramdisk and is reset after each reboot ) then "opkg install /tmp/pmax........"

Where i am ?
With wincsp + putty I install libxpl_1_ar71xx.ipk and xPLLibexample_1_ar71xx.ipk but not pmaxd_1_ar71xx.ipk
I have allreary this message " cannot satisfy the following dependences for pmaxd: libconfig.
So I install libconfig_1.4.8-2_ar71xx.ipk
But now I don't have connection with TP Link like my IP adress was false (blue led on TP Link is blinks on/off)
My TP Link is out of order?

good (and normal, pmaxd is indeed relying on libconfig)

so install libconfig with:

opkg update
opkg install libconfig

this is what you did ?

concerning your problem with libconfig bricking your 703N i am unsure, but you might try to use the reset button you may also find help on the openwrt forum (I never had the issue)

Thanks for your aid.
I try plenty of combinaisons with the switch; but the led is always blinking and always no ip link
So I want to try to enter by serial port like this:
https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=36594
and with using serial cable that you describe under; the most difficult is to solder on the PCB
At this time, I don't see anything else

did you really try clicking many many time (click 3 times each second) during 60 second while booting the openwrt ?

having serial access is of course the big graal but is a bit difficult on this router (the MR3020 is a lot better for this)

Does anyone know whether there's a way to port these sources so we can run them under windows (python or whatever)?

everything is C so you can try porting this to windows (using cygwin maybe), but having a complete windows computer attached to the alarm, and having to run 24h a day for this is a bit of a shame........ (specially when the router we are using can be get for less than 20€ including shipping)

mr3020 is easier to debug thanks to the serial port,
the 703N is smaller and I can assure I made it work at 3.7V powered by the alarm (I cannot garantee it for the mr3020)

I want to buy mr3020; it's too secure for me.
I look at Viknet when I receive it.
About my 703N, I think that there was a conflict between LUCI and xPLLibexample_1_ar71xx.ipk
Next time I will not install Luci
