Complete component kit
It is possible to order a complete component kit with everything included to buidl your own gateway. There are options for using USB or LAN/WIFI as interface. See below for more information.

USB Connectivity
When selecting USB as connectivity method, there will be some minor changes to the PCB. The max232 will not be necessary as the USB chip already communicates by TTL. This IC will be replaced by a wiring bridge in this version.

WLAN/LAN interface option
A preprogrammed converter to use with the USB version of the Opentherm Gateway. This converter can be joined in your network by LAN or WIFI so you can connect to your gateway by IP.
The original ot-monitor software can also be used by opening the port with: “ip:port”.

Please note: I you have currently a RS232 version of the gateway, it is possible to modify your RS232 gateway to a USB gateway.

PIC programming
When ordering a kit without “Programmed PIC”, the kit will be send out with a factory default PIC (empty!). You have to program it yourself with a pic programmer. After the first initial flash it is possible to update the firmware using the tools you can find on: http://tclcode.com/opentherm/download.html

Assembly
Ordering assembly is only possible with PIC programming included.
Please understand that assemblage of your Opentherm gateway will be done after ordering. This can cause some extra delivery time.

Shipment and payment
Shipment is possible worldwide. The items will be send out from the Netherlands.

Shipment costs are depending on the package size:
Order PCB - NL € 2.50 - EU € 6.50 - WW € 10.50

Thanks for the fastservice Flue (delivered after 2 days), just soldered the component kit together and it works like a charm with my Agpo ecocompact 225 boiler and Chronotherm Modulation thermostat. Talk about a speed start in opentherm operations :D

Only hickup where the Zener diodes. They where unreadable for me and I had to use a power supply and resistor to readout their values. Would be nice to label them when packaging the component kit.

Cheers Jeroen

Hi Jeroen,
thanks for the complements.

I was thinking about a good solotion for "labeling" the components. The enscription on the zener's are very tiny to read. I someone have a good solution, let me hear! Please keep in mind it does not take too much extra time to keep the pricing as low as possible.

I abuse "Magic tape Scotch 3M" for this kind of temporally labeling, quick and cheap.

Apologies for the large topic-kick. But I wanted to know if there is still interest in some Gateway PCB's. I was unable to contact the TS and/or his shop to order one PCB.

The alternative is that I order 10 at a PCB manufacturer. However I Only need one so I've 9 more to sell.
Let me know if you if you are interested. (price will be around manufacturing costs + shipping to your address)

Hi,

Why were you unable to contact me? You can send me a pm or on the website. Also, you can just order the pcb's on the webshop. They are on stock.

In case you have the pcb's produced yourself in china and want to sell the ones you don't need, you can sell these on otgw.tclcode.com. there is a form where you can sell them to others who are interested.

Don't bother the competition. For me, its just a hobby, not for profit. :)

Regards,
Roland

Unfortunately I'm not authorized to send PM messages. So I'll post it here :)

I used the contact form at your website, and the "contact a user who has left-over pcb's " on the gateway website itself.
But I received no reply. I looked at your "Last visited:" on your profile and it said something about a year ago. So I figured you had moved on :)

Anyway, Great News that you still sell PCB's. I wasn't really looking forward to producing my own. I will place an order then.
Thanks for the reply :)

Sorry to kick up such an old topic but are there any new shops offering the PCB for sale? The opentherm-gateway.com website forwards to kiwi-electronics.nl. They have only the assembled gateways listed and those are not in stock.
