Re: lowprice 1-wire usb interface, which and where?

Hi,

Does this work just putting the ds1820 in the tube, how accurate does this measure the concrete/floor temp ?

Domotiga on KNX/EIB

Timo,

Yes I have a Merten KNX yearclock hooked up. Do you want some ets output ?

Yesterday i've noticed that the eib class is interpreting group numbers different then shown on the ets monitor, did you took care of this in the new module ?

Domotiga on KNX/EIB

Timo, Did you make a new class EIB for Domotiga, thought I'd read it somewhere ? What did you change about it ? After using/testing the current class module for some days I believe I found some errors. For some reason the module is not receiving all the datagrams from the bus as it seems so i'm plan...

Domotiga on KNX/EIB

I'd looked at freebus also a while ago but finally went for Merten/Gira KNX hardware as main line. Dimming is an expensive thing under any bussystem, around 100euro per channel for knx but I reccon freebus is a lot cheaper ? I went for the 0-10 dimming route, so having only 0-10v dimmers (siemens ha...

Domotiga on KNX/EIB

My setup of eibd: - fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 - installed pthsem 2.07 by source - installed eibd 0.0.4 by source - recompile everything I only use the usb module I'll try to makeup a step-by step setup because all i could find on the net was based on older versions and i like to have a step-by-st...

Domotiga in a backend/frontend setup ??

Ron, There's an error in the class CEIB. Line 166 through 168 read: sAddressSplit = Split(sAddress, "|" "/") sA1 = Val(sAddressSplit[6]) & Val(sAddressSplit[7]) sA2 = Val(sAddressSplit[8]) But should be: sAddressSplit = Split(sAddress, "|" "/") sA1 = Val(s...

Domotiga in a backend/frontend setup ??

For the error: As far as i can see it is just some missing or misplaced code, i did rearrange the logging and now it was solved. I also did some cleanup on the interface setting part, after the btnSave_click() in each interface setup i added the FMain.UpdateStatusPanel(). In the FMain.UpdateStatusPa...

Domotiga in a backend/frontend setup ??

Well I did make a quick and dirty stripped version of domotiga last night, removed all the F's and references. I did stumble into some strange ' error coded stuff' like sending something to the logfile before creating the logfile.... ;-). For now i'll wait for Ron because he's the maintainer for Dom...

Domotiga in a backend/frontend setup ??

Hello, I'm thinking of creating a backend/frontend version of domotiga. The backend will run (silently) as a daemon and fire all scheduled events read from the database and act on actions whereas the frontend will just modify the database. What would it take to create the backend ? I'm thinking of s...
