so basically what whould be the drawbacks of running a secondary controller? (besides the routing problems)
Like for example if I have a primary controller like FIbaro HC or a Zipabox and I want to test Domotiga or OpenHAB without interfering too much with running setup

Multiple controllers on same network
Hi
Is it possible to run more than one zwave controller on same zwave network? I am asking for testing purposes only in order to try those software controllers running on raspberry pi without messing around too much with a working zwave network.

Re: Wall Controllers and Roller Shutters
maybe it is the wall controller that needs to be configured: according to specs it should differentiate between single click and hold down press. The easy way could be to set up a rule/association in your controller (or a scene), or play around with Group Associations (group 1 single click and group...

Re: Wall Controllers and Roller Shutters
I think there are some parameters to send from the controllers in order to configure buttons behavior: check the fibaro manual they are all explained.

Re: Z-wave network design filosofy
I don't understand what would be the problem with sound system and tv, since they can operate normally on their own. As a personal note, if your controller has problems with minor power failures I would suggest getting a small UPS just to be safe.

Re: Extend z-wave network to enocean
yes, that's the one I found too.
There is also the zipato zipabox that has an expansion module for enocean if anyone is interested.

Extend z-wave network to enocean
Hello I am wondering if there is a way to extend a z-wave network to control also enocean devices. I have been looking for a bridge/gateway but so far I only found a project to use a FHEM on raspberry + enocean USB dongle that uses APIs from fibaro to send device changes to the Fibaro Home Center; o...
