Re: does anyone tried HomeSeer Z-NET Remote Z-Wave Interface

The HomeSeer Zee S2 is basically that. It imcludes the same hardware zwave interface and has HS3 preinstalled. Note that the version of HS3 that it comes with is limited to 5 plugins. You could build your own as well with a Raspberry Pi and a Razberry zwave interface. Sent from my Phone using Tapatalk

Re: Time related event does not work

The issue is that the two conditions will never be true at the same time as they are both relative to midnight. "The Time is After 23:55" really means "The Time is After 23:55 and Before 00:00" "The Time is Before 06:00" is really "The Time is After 00:00 and Befor...

Re: HS3 MQTT Plugin

nhs forces the script command to run as vb.net whereas on Windows, using hs will run it as vbscript. Since the Zee does not support vbscript, the nhs and hs commands likely do exactly the same thing on a Zee. Since it works under Windows/.NET, I'm guessing its an issue with Mono on the Zee 2. You co...

Re: HS3 MQTT Plugin

I just tried it on my system and got this error message when running the immediate script command: Mar-13 6:12:49 PM System Control Panel Immediate Script: &hs.PluginFunction("MQTT","","publish",{"homeseer/something","1234"}) Mar-13 6:12:49 PM Er...

HS3 MQTT Plugin

The system.core message will be displayed if there's any kind of compilation error. Can you post the contents of the K1.vb file? Also, did you put an & in front of the hs. Command in the immediate script field?

Re: Vera vs. Z-Wave

Vera is a hub and zwave is a protocol. Not sure you can compare them. Vera supports zwave. I haven't used the Vera hub but use HomeSeer which also supports zwave. There are quite a few users on the HomeSeer boards that used to use a Vera and were unhappy with it. What are you trying to automate?

Re: IP Connected Washing machine?

Check out http://www.home-connect.com/de/en/. They support IFTTT, so if there are no other ways to get the data into HS, you could likely use it.

Your event looks ok but is disabled. Click on the second icon to the right of the Group drop down list to enable it. It has a yellow background and a red circle with a line through it. It'll turn green once you click it. If it still does not work, do you get entries in the HS log when it runs? Cheer...

Re: I need a software that supports solar siren and perimeter

Hi Mario, Take a look at the Dakota Alert line of products as well ( dakotaalert.com/catb2b1/product_info.ph ... ts_id=143) , although I don't know if they are easily available in Europe. Their receiver can easily be interfaced into most home automation systems using the contact outputs coupled to a...

Re: CO2 Sensors

Aha found it, and it is working. To bad that you cannot make it a status only device (prevent control using app or webinterface) http://board.homeseer.com/showpost.php?p=1238267&postcount=2 Yes, unfortunately JSON does not work with status only device, but it's possible to create a simple ASP p...

- Create a virtual device in HomeSeer (http://ip:port/deviceutility and press the green + in the rightside upper corner) - Remember the Reference ID (for example 1036) - Use this link in your webbrowser to test (htpp://ipadresss:port/JSON?request=controldevicebyvalue&ref=1036&value=15252 - ...

Re: LUX Meter - requirements collection

And another question - do you need the output really in LUX or also other units.. as there are sensors that really measure LUX and others that just measure how strong the light is but w/o convering it to lux (the difference is rather in the communication with those sensors and not so much in the pr...
