Well, I received my Arduino 2009, and have it logging successfully our gas meter (by using a CNY70 sensor) and 2 DS18S20 temperature sensors (will be expanded soon to every room, about 13). So far, I'm quite happy with this setup, and I think it is a very viable and cheap replacement for the RFXMete...
