Re: vESPrino - quickly add sensors to domotica

Hi Guys, Just FIY, i have added a notable offering to the campaign. now each sensor can be wrapped in a "cookie" (vESPrino cookies) and several can be nested together to form YOUR device. have a look how a PIR sensor with OLED display looks like :) https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vlast3k...

What do you think? Is this something that makes sense for you as well ?

vThings - CO2 Monitor - Dual Beam - WiFi / now on IndieGoGo

Hi Guys, Today i've launched a new Crowdfunding campaign: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/vthings-co2-monitor-dual-beam-wifi--2/x/10721175#/ The trouble with most conventional CO2 Sensors is that they need to see fresh air each few days, so that they do internal calibration. This makes them unsui...

CO2 Sensor - Clearance - Starting from 40 eur

As some of you may have read in this topic http://www.domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11007&start=75 Last year I started a kickstarter campaign to create affordable CO2 Sensors. People on the forum asked me to upgrade them to NDIR sensors so i did. Now i have a dozen remaining CO2 Senso...

Re: LUX Meter - requirements collection

Hi vlast3k, are you further with this? Im quite curious! i decided to give it a try and make it with a battery, but for this i would need some very efficient battery cirquit, especially if it has to respond with few seconds delay time. i did some evaluations in this direction, and few additional id...

Re: Ledcontroller H801 upgraded MQTT from Aliexpress

Can you explain what to do to update the firmware yourself.? I've added terminals for the jumper and the serial cable already but what next? I probaly need a serial-to-usb converter. Any advice on that one? Is there any thing to consider when setting up the Arduino IDE for programming? I want to ru...

Re: CO2 Sensors

Anyway, I read that the NDIR sensors only need 2 minutes to warm up. What the manufacturer of the sensor told me is that: The NDIR sensor uses an IR light which flashes, and based on the amount of light absorbed from the air - they determine the CO2 level. And the IR Light (LED) apparently needs so...

Re: LUX Meter - requirements collection

And another question - do you need the output really in LUX or also other units.. as there are sensors that really measure LUX and others that just measure how strong the light is but w/o convering it to lux (the difference is rather in the communication with those sensors and not so much in the pri...

Re: LUX Meter - requirements collection

and how fast to those react ?
In the moment you turn the light on (or maximum couple of seconds later) or after some delay (few minutes)
this will determine whether i would need a second, lower power mcu on the board or not, as the wifi chip (ESP8266) consumes quite some power

LUX Meter - requirements collection

Hi Guys, i am collecting some wishes about a LUX meter that connects to Domotica over Wifi / MQTT. Initially it will be USB powered device. Currently i am investigating how to make it battery powered. Goal is to last at least 1 year on 2xAA Alcaline (1.5v) cells, or even more on 2xC (Baby) cells (wi...
