Unfortunately, I had to return the unit since the range was very poor. As soon as I moved the outdoor unit outtoors, all communication between the rfxcom and outdoor sensors stopped.

I might just pick one up and open it up. Not sure if they develop their own chips or if they just assemble them and stick their name in it.

Will Denver TRC-1490 Temp/Humidity sensor work?
Hi Guys, Dirk van de Broek has a special this week : DENVER TRC-1490 Indoor/outdoor temp/humidity for €10,- according to the technical specs its 433. Outdoor unit has 3 channels.
