Re: Ser2net and local Win 7 application

Hi Bert, I assumed that I could use this solution to connect other USB devices over IP to virtual com ports at the PC aswell. Could be handy to connect my PMIX35, Plugwise and USB modem via a RPi. Besides the RFXtrx433E that I'll add to my config later. So my goal is to find software that can be ins...

Ser2net and local Win 7 application

Hi, I try to use a Raspberry Pi to connect several USB devices over LAN with my Win 7 domotica PC. I've used the following config: Disable Serial Console sudo nano /etc/inittab insert a # sign in front of this line: T0:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyAMA0 115200 vt100 ctrl-O Enter ctrl-x Remove console...

Re: RFXCOM with Powermaster products

No. PowerMax components (PowerCode) have 1-way communication, PowerMaster components (PowerG) use a completely different 2-way protocol.

Differences between scripting in HS2 vs HS3

Does anybody has an overview of the differences between scripting in HS2 vs HS3?
I'm moving from HS2 to HS3 and it would save a serious amount of time if the differences in scripting rules for. NET would be available.

Thanks

Re: How to test fibaro smoke sensor? FGSS-101

You also could consider buying a can of test gas. It's specially designed for testing smoke detectors. Google should help you finding a supplier.

Re: Update to HS3 or switch to other platform?

Thanks for your thougts guys.
It looks like updating to HS3 is still the best way for me. The suggestion of black Friday is great. Can wait until November 27th.
Gives me a little time to prepare the update.

Re: Update to HS3 or switch to other platform?

Thanks for your reply AshaiRey, great help to make the right choice :( Pls take a sec to read the conclusion: Conc: I need to maintain the system and fix the broken issues. This seems a good moment (just spending the time once) to see if I will spend my time in the current setup or move to another s...

Re: Update to HS3 or switch to other platform?

Most systems need some kind of maintenance to keep them working. For example: The supplier of the weather data (weathercom) in my HSTouch design stopped pushing the data. Result: blank spots on my touchscreens A few switches stopped working and need to be replaced Some Oregon temp sensors need new b...

Update to HS3 or switch to other platform?

Hi, I'm still using HS2. Because I didn't maintain my configuration for the last year(s) I'm slowly losing functionality. My current HS2 configuration is dying :-( So, action needs to be taken. What's your opinion about this? - Stay at HS2 - Upgrade to HS3 (seems to be the easiest but also expensive...

Thanks.
