And another question, my thermostat is able to tell my boiler when to keep warm-water ready in a boiler. Someone on the Tweakers forum told me that I could short-wire the pins of the MAX232 with the MAX232 installed, but it turns out to be a bad idea. Nope, I ordered all parts from Conrad. I used the serial cable which I soldered myself to the sub-D 9 connector and for the ESP8266 I'm using dupont wires.
