Re: Strange jumps in measured room temperature
@hvxl,
Is this something you can look into, or is there somebody else who can do that?

Re: Strange jumps in measured room temperature
I did a simple test, just removing the gateway from between the Central heating and the thermostat. Then the measured temperature on the thermostat is correct! in this case 18°C. After connecting the OTGW, the measured temperature is immediately incorrect, in this case 19°C, which is too high. As yo...

Re: Strange jumps in measured room temperature
Thanks for your reply! The source of the data of the chart are the Room Setpoint (0x10) and Room Temperature (0x18) messages received from esp-link. I have nothing connected to the RT terminals of the thermostat, only A and B are connected to the OTGW. The temperature around the thermostat does not ...

Re: OTGW normal Behaviour
@ jodur, Thanks for your quick reply! I build the OTGW myself, and I already use the esp-link from Jeelabs, but I think the problem is in the tcp-out-node of Node-RED. Might be a connection issue. When this is confirmed, or when I have the solution, I will post it here. *update*: The issue is not in...

Re: OTGW normal Behaviour
Hi jodur,
Can you please let us know what was wrong with the hardware in your 1. point of concern?
I seem to have a similar issue: Sometimes the <TT=...> command is not interpreted by the gateway. Most of the times it works, but not always.

Re: MQTT topics
Hi jodur, I do not know if there is a MQTT topic for it, but I check the raw messages from the OTGW, and check if the value for "Remote override room setpoint" (Message type "9") is set to 0 (zero) or not. AC0090000 Read-Ack Remote override room setpoint: 0.00 If the value is zer...

Strange jumps in measured room temperature
Strange temperature jumps_.png As you can see in the chart, it jumps up +/- 1,5°C at a certain temperature, and jumps down later during the night. I have no idea what is causing this behaviour. But as you can see it is quite reproducable. I'm quite sure this wasn't the case without the OTGW. I chec...

Room setpoint changes spontaneous after some time
I have connected my self-build OTGW to a Honeywell Chronotherm Modulation T8851M1000 and I discovered that when I change the temperature temporarily with the Honeywell, this temporary setting is canceled after some time. Can be half an hour or a bit longer. So in this example the standard temperatur...
