Re: Toon app: boiler status

Awesome detailed explanation; DHW is indeed enabled. Turned it off last night and I see different behaviour. (Same exponential decay but over a longer period of time) I expected to see a change in modulation level, but apparently it can do without. I [don't see/missed] the corresponding gas-usage an...

Re: Toon app: boiler status

I don't really understand the values Toon produces for this app. Home Assistant creates these graphs from it's values, but it shows weird behaviour. Toon Boiler OutTemp and InTemp behave strangely; even when there's no modulation and at night. (The saw-teeth; ignore the small gap) https://thumb.ibb....

Re: Toons spotted on MP

This guy from marktplaats sells the real deal. Brand new and sealed too.
He didn't answer the door, but sold them from the back of his trunk because he had to leave right away.

Spending the money was the easy part, now let's root it. :D

I'll be picking up mine this evening. I'll happily act as guinea pig for your rooting service.

Developing software using Qemu sounds awesome. Exciting times ahead! :D

Re: Toon temperature correction

Thanks for the replies. It seems that a negative offset between 0.5 and 1.0 is nothing to be ashamed of.

Toon temperature correction

I quite recently mounted my Toon in the living room as my active thermostat and I have my doubts about its temperature readings. In my opinion Toon shows high temperatures. (That or it's still very warm in the house...) I have another temperature sensor in the living room and added another (close to...

Re: Toon app: Afvalwijzer

It's useful information, discarding it would be a waste (pun intended). For my zipcode cleaning is always on the same day as the pickup. And I guess that's always the case to make sure the containers are empty. So a combined icon would make sense; just a small (water)droplet on the container w...

Re: Toon app: Afvalwijzer

Updated right away via ToonStore; pointed to the valid file in the settings, added a fake birthday (today and tomorrow). Both show up, todays with an icon on the dimscreen. So far so good. For today I get an kliko-icon with a red arrow in the topright-corner. That's a bit odd for birthdays (or any c...

Re: Toon app: Afvalwijzer

Address hidden on purpose; provider 1 works fine for me.
If I point extraDates-file to a non-existing file it shows proper dates; if I point to the actual file nothing is shown.

Re: Toon app: Afvalwijzer

I'm trying to use extra dates / custom icons with this app but it's not working; could you please take a look at my config and point out what's wrong. Obviously I'm missing something... eneco-001-037311:~# cd /qmf/qml/apps/wastecollection eneco-001-037311:/qmf/qml/apps/wastecollection-3.6# ls -l -rw...

Re: Software: modifications and extensions Toon

I finally decided to mount the Toon in the living room and replace the existing thermostat. And offcourse the missus had a comment ready right away; the hue/controlpanel-button was too bright in the dimstate. And I must say that I agree; it's a rather large white-button with tiny black dots and a sm...

Re: Toon app: Home Assistant controller

I highly doubt that; the only cert Toon has to trust is the root-certificate (the cert of the certificate authority - ca). As long as that certificate is valid, Toon will accept certificates derived from this ca. It might the confusing that the cert is called 'xxx_duckdns_org.crt', makes me believe ...

Re: Rooting the new Toon
