Did you edit the file /etc/passwd and set a new password? If so, with dropbear running, you should be able to get into your toon using ssh. If not, well ... you'll have to set the password. The /sbin/getty stuff emerges from a busybox version not having getty on board. That's fixed in a busybox ver...
