Re: plugwise design, but through wifi PlugAway
I made a pledge for 5 plugs. I wanted something like plugwise, but didn't like their business case and their attitude towards OS other then Windows. I waited for ages for Qees, but that firm isn't delivering its prophecy. I hope this kickstarter project is successful. It sounds very promising. -- Eric

Re: [Poll for interest] OpenTherm Gateway pcbs

Re: Panasonic solar panels (Dutch)
Panasonic (former Sanyo)PV-panels are known for their efficiency. Both module and cell have a very high efficiency which is only equaled by the Sunpower PV-panels. These panels are more expensive than Yingli etc and are advised when roofspace is limited.

Re: Wireless Opentherm room stats.
The original Opentherm specification allowed only limited use for a room stat, enough for the electronics, but not for by example display illumination. New "smartpower" specification allows heavier current usage. The smartpower adapter is nothing more then a power adapter to use newer OT-s...

Re: QEES Plug-in Socket Relay
For spam they can install a spam filter. I think it's more likely that they are flooded by customers who think their life isn't complete anymore without product X or Y that was announced some time ago and who start asking qeestions  Today, I got an answer (with apologies) . The socket relay i...

Re: FritzApp

Re: QEES Plug-in Socket Relay to measure PV production?
Today I mailed Qees again, hope I get an answer this time. Does anyone have a better email address? Probably the info(at)qees.eu is flooded with spam and they ignore it all.

QEES Plug-in Socket Relay
I asked Qees, but until now, I didn't get a reaction. Is the Qees plug capable of measuring production of PhotoVoltaic energy? Is the smartgate able to registrate this. Some people are using Plugwise for this, but not everybody is content.

Opentherm <-> serial interface Home Vision
Browsing the internet I came across this: http://www.tclcode.com/opentherm/index.html#intro This person built an interface to connect his HomeVision system to his Remeha Calenta. This looks rather promising and the print looks rather easy to assemble. These are the main functions Forward OpenTherm m...
