Re: Toon 1 keeps rebooting (5.46.4)

Because my Toon 1 shows the same behavior as mentioned by the thread starter, I'll provide you with with result from 'top -b -n 1'. The Toon 1 starts to reboot in a loop about once a month and it is seemingly flawlessly resolved by interrupting the power. Seems worthwhile to check deeper into it, th...

I also tried to change the url in the Kalender app to include the username and password. WebDAV seems to use the format

Code: Select all

http://username/password/server:port/.....
However, it didn't work.
shouldn't this be: http://username:password@server:port/.....
Yes! Works!

Re: Toon app: Kalender

I realize that having the shell execute a command is harder is Javascript. Apparently, the question has been raised before: execSync with the option shell.
However, I wonder whether this is implemented by Quby's version of Javascript.

Re: Toon app: Kalender

What I would like to do, but can't since I mostly program Perl nowadays, is recognize a given http-string as a curl-command. Execute that curl-command in the shell. Recognize the name of file generated or append it if it's missing and generate a file-string to read it into the Kalender app. E.g. in ...

Re: Toon app: Kalender OpenSourced

I finally got around to making the Toon Kalendar fully opensourced. It's now working independent of Google and iCloud and whatnot. Steps to get it working: 1.- I've defined a local path in the app, e.g. " file:///mnt/data/tsc/myCalendarRadicale.ics ". 2.- I've installed Radicale on my serv...

Tiles missing

The tiles for buienrader are missing. Installed version TSC 5.39.7, update-rooted.sh 4.42, buienradar 8.5.12, toonstore 5.1.0. I ran `sh update-rooted.sh -f`, `reboot` , `shutdown -r now`, but to no avail. I switched native weather to on , since the weather info is missing from the clock tile*, too....

Re: Toon app: Kalender

I tried installing the CalDav server yesterday, but I also had to configure nginx as a web server for it, so I didn't get it all done. Apparently, I've got to switch to Apache if I want an full installation manual. I had hoped to get an instance running, then query it and give you my results. So for...

Re: Toon app: Kalender

I really like this app. A calendar should be on the wall and this bridges the gab between digital agenda's and old fashioned calendars beautifully. After using it for a year, I find it is time to start cutting the cord to the big data corporations such as Google and start hosting my own calendar ser...

Opkg can't update due to feed.hae.int disappearing

Hello, My Toon has been running lovely for a few years, but it got stuck at 5.13.xx and started generating error messages. So I updated the Toon manually to 5.33.9 and I got the message: * opkg_download: Failed to download http://feed.hae.int/feeds/qb2/oe/angelica-1.6.0-master-psplash-curl/armv5e/li...

Re: Hardware: Toon boiler module, "ketelmodule"

Wattage Ketelmodule and Toon I was wondering how much wattage the ketelmodule and more importantly the Toon 1 really need. The ketelmodule states that it uses 10.3W and the power adapter states that it delivers 24V at 0.5A, which comes to 12W. The power adapter of the ketelmodule flashed rather spl...
