Yes this is a LAn connected transmitter and IP and port are correct. After a bit of playing around and an upgrade to Ubuntu 10.10 it apperas that the problem arises when I change to a fixed IP via the network GUI. Thank you for the prompt response. There is nothing connected or trying to connect to the receiver during Domotiga's start up (or any other time). Post starting Domotiga and receiving the error message I can use RFreceiver to access the receiver.

Just wondering if anyone has acheived anything with the Honeywell protocol yet or whether it has vanished to the 'to hard and not enough time' basket. I would be more than happy to add my thought power to the mix if anyone is keen to crack this one.
