Got the same issue as you regarding Ideal Max boiler and Halo Lite thermostat, wrote to Ideal to ask if there was a firmware upgrade to the Halo lite that supported MSG9, radio silence so far.

It respects the CH bit, if I do CS=something and then CH=0 the boiler goes off, CH=1 boiler on. Just think it uses is own the weather comp setting curve to determine the CS values. Can someone help, with the Nodoshop version does the passthrough allow the powering of the thermostat off the opentherm line i.e. 24v ?
