Re: Looking for experience with the DHW push feature
On a Remeha Tzerra (not Ace) the DHW setting is P4. 2 means thermostat controlled. I said Remeha Tzerra, but I meant to say Remeha Tzerra Ace. My bad! I realized that SWW is the Dutch acronym for DHW and dug deeper into the manual. I did find these two options, but it doesn't seem like an exact mat...

Re: Looking for experience with the DHW push feature
Thanks, Schelte! That was super informative and interesting. I found the DHW-related settings on my Remeha iSense RF thermostat and put it into "Continuous" mode; I assume this equivalent to the "Comfort" setting. It was set to "Disabled" before, and the other option is...

Re: Looking for experience with the DHW push feature
This is the setup needed to be able to use this feature: Your storage tank must not normally be heated. What do you mean with "not normally be heated"? Do you mean that there's an option that would keep the storage tank heated constantly ? There are two ways to achieve this: Configure it ...

Re: Looking for experience with the DHW push feature
What brand and model boiler do you have? Remeha Elga Ace heat pump and Remeha Tzerra boiler. Does that boiler natively support Manual DHW Push via ID 99? The equipment matrix shows "✖ The boiler does not recognise or does not support the data ID" for both the heat pump and the boiler. Doe...

Re: Room Temperature randomly reading -40.0 °C
Interestingly your new log does not contain any Room setpoint messages (in over half an hour). Possibly the iSense RF only sends that when it changes? That seems right. I noticed that the room setpoint had an empty history in Home Assistant until I changed it on the thermostat. I suppose they're tr...

Re: Room Temperature randomly reading -40.0 °C
I've uploaded my log earlier today. The most recent iSense RF log indeed shows that MsgID 9 and 100 are not requested (because you hadn't found the menu setting yet). And also MsgID 99 appears to depend on that setting. Good to know. And the battery of your room temperature controller is running lo...

Re: Room Temperature randomly reading -40.0 °C
I made a few edits to my last post. After enabling the remote override on the thermostat, it's now finally working :) The only thing I'm not sure about is whether I need to send "FT=I" or if the iSense RF is automatically detected as an iSense thermostat. I had no idea that the equipment d...

Re: Room Temperature randomly reading -40.0 °C
Thanks for your detailed answer. I find this very interesting! It's good to know that this 'issue' isn't affecting the heating system, just my room temperature plots in Home Assistant. I'm filtering out the -40.0 values there to solve that issue. I have another question. According to the thermostat ...

Room Temperature randomly reading -40.0 °C
The OTGW is connected to a Remeha Elga Ace heat pump and Remeha iSense RF thermostat. At random intervals, the room temperature reads -40.0 °C (see log at the bottom). The system seems to be working correctly, but it's still bothering me; I want to understand why this is happening. Here are some pos...

Re: OTGW NodoShop Version and power to thermostat
I guess I should have just waited for someone more knowledgeable - like the OTGW developer - than me to answer this question. I've learned something new about how this thing is powered. Thanks!

Re: OTGW NodoShop Version and power to thermostat
Yes, it does. I've installed my OTGW from Nodo-Shop yesterday and the thermostat doesn't require additional power, i.e., it powers from the OT line.
