Re: otgwmcu firmware update
Yes, I know it's an old feature and I know that not all boilers/thermostats support all the features (mine doesn't support TT/TC commands for remote override room setpoint but supports SW dhw setpoint chage), but I thought it would be nice to have just in cascase. I already used your iphone html tem...

otgwmcu firmware update
Hello Schelte, The webserver of otmonitor has a web page for iphones (http://otmonhost:8080/iphone.html) but it only gives users control over room setpoint and info about room temp and outside temp and heating/dhw status. I think it's a great feature, but I was wondering if your otgwmcu firmware can...

Re: otmonitor glitch
well since the thermostat sends an invalid message there will be no difference if I stop the boiler from getting msgid17. The problem is that nothing happens when I use UI=14 and UI=17 - it works perfectly fine for any other msgid. Is there any reason as to why this happens? The control algorithm wi...

Re: otmonitor glitch
Hello Schelte, is there a way I can go around this? I tried using UI=17 command but it does not work and this is what i get: 15:25:44.270072 T90110000 Write-Data Relative modulation level (MsgID=17): 0.00 15:25:44.329952 BF0110000 Unk-DataId Relative modulation level (MsgID=17): 0.00 I thought that ...

otmonitor glitch
Hello Shelte, otmonitor has a glitch when displayng the relative modulation level (please see pictures below). It only happens when the thermostat tries to write msgid17 When reading msgid17, the value gets displayed correctly. Also, when the boiler is running, relative moulation level costantly jum...

Re: enabling OTC weather compensation using opentherm gateway
here is what I mean: boiler supported MsgIDs msgid 17 / Read / Relative modulation level msgid 14 / Write / Maximum relative modulation level this is probably the correct answer since msgid 17 is read only: 10:55:17.188956 T90110000 Write-Data Relative modulation level (MsgID=17): 0.00 10:55:17.2954...

Re: enabling OTC weather compensation using opentherm gateway
Hello Shelte and thanks for the reply! I guessed that would be the way it works and i'm trying to find workarounds. One solution would be to use an on/off thermostat, but then I loose access to boiler info. It seems that even when I disconect the OT thermostat and only use the gateway in standalone ...

enabling OTC weather compensation using opentherm gateway
Hello I am trying to enable weather compensation on my boiler while using otgw from nodo shop. I an not happy with the way thermostat is running the boiler as it always asks for max temp at the beginning of the cycle and only reduces it by a couple of degrees and the end of them cycle; this is ok wh...

Re: Is this an issue or just normal
That is not an issue, most boilers don't need room temp or room setpoint. Yes, you can use AA=27 serial command. if the gateway detects an unknown msgid three times it marks it as as available slot (which can be used for AA commands), so basically you don't need to run UI command as the gateway does...

Re: OTGW gateway mode problem
And I'm back to square one!
The gateway stopped working again and behaves the same way I mentioned in the first post.
Looks like it had nothing to do with what I did, it's all hit and miss.

Re: OTGW gateway mode problem
Hello Schelte, I managed to find a solution after playing with the settings. I deleted all the alternatives in the list (DA=116 to 123) I added AA=28 for return water temp After that I used VR command and found out that in gateway mode, it only works with VR=0. For monitor mode VR=0 setting is too l...
