Eneco Toon (gehacked)

Re: RFXCom Integration with Wattson Power Meter
Hi Andy, I've never tried it using the RFXcom, it doesn't show up when I do a scan of available appliances, so I guess the protocol is not implemented in RFXcom. Instead I then used the openwattson package for Linux to retrieve the power consumption every 12 seconds and put it in a log file. From th...

Re: CV control / Opentherm gateway with iPhone app
Hi Templar, I'm trying to do exactly that (with a WRT54GL and DD-WRT) but it doesn't work yet. There is a problem installing via opkg. If you have it working please let me know!

Re: Calculating difference to old value
Can you explain how you do this "houtje touwtje" trick? I would like to use it as well.. Tried cosm in it's pachube era once but did not fall in love right away :) I've made a trigger on each new value of the stream with the gas total. That trigger calls a php script that checks the most ...

Re: Calculating difference to old value
Would be great if this could be solved directly in DomotiGa. Since I don't use the RDD charts very much, but post all values to cosm (pachube) I can work around it for now by polling the datafeed with the gas total and comparing it with the most recent value that was less than the current and post t...

Calculating difference to old value
I'm currently using Domatiga to read the values from my smart meter through the P1 gate. From the energy meter I get an update every 10 seconds about the current load. The gas meter does an update to the energy meter every hour. In Domotiga I only have the total usage since the meter was placed. I w...

Nice addon! I wonder if the same thing would be possible with a wireless version. Maybe I finally have a reason to add serial to my WRT54GL other than because I can

Which cable for Domotiga and NTA8130
I want to connect my Domotiga to my Kampstrup smart meter. I know that the meter is NTA8130 compatible and has a P1 gate, but which cable do I have to use to connect it?
Based on the specs in the Smart Meter wiki page I think I need the TTL-232RG-VSW5V-WE from FDTI, is that correct?

Hi ChrisPW,
mind sharing your arduino code and electrical setup here?
I use HighCharts to visualise my energy consumption. It even has a live chart function.

Re: Calculate energy usage
Hi Robert, thank you for your reply. You're right, the interval is about 20 seconds, I made a typo. I initially planned to keep a record per hour in my db using ON DUPLICATE UPDATE in the insert statement. Every reading would check if there was a reading for that hour and than summed the two up. I n...

Calculate energy usage
I measure my energy usage using a wattson which is polled every 10 seconds using openwattson . Since openwattson cannot write to the database directly I use a txt file to gather the readings and parse that with a php script which is called every minute. I want to store the readings in a mysql db per...

Re: [Animo Check] Smart metering readout hardware (P1 port)
I'm interessted. I've a KAMPSTRUP 382JxC energy meter with a UNIFLO G4SMV gas meter connected to it. A wired connection would be fine for me, as my router is next to the meters.
