Re: VERY cheap Oregon sensor!

Another weird thing is that the two other working THGR328 devices show a temperature reading that is 1 degree Celsius lower than another Oregon devices I already had in use and my Honeywelll thermostat. Same here, the ones I got are consistently reading 0.8 degree lower than the other Oregon device...

Re: VERY cheap Oregon sensor!

Yes !! Vanochtend geleverd.

Re: VERY cheap Oregon sensor!

Re: Smart meter hacked

The URL to the BBC article should be in lowercase.

The phpBB forum app mangles the "News" portion in the URL path to an incorrect uppercased URL http://www.bbc.com/News/technology-29643276 -> (News should be in lowercase)

Thanks.

In a last effort attempt I've sprayed the internals of the sensor with silicone spray a while ago, working fine so far . . .

Re: Oregon Scientific frustration

The RFXCOM plug-in with the RFXtrx433 supports also: TFA, Cresta and laCrosse, see chapter 2.2.1 http://rfxcom.com/Documents/RFXtrx%20User%20Guide.pdf Hi Bert, Would the RFXCOM 433 receiver also be capable to receive signals from these devices ? I'm facing similar issues with Oregon sensors. Over t...

Re: x10 MS13 as a dusk/dawn sensor

Note that you can tweak the dusk/dawn sensor sensitivity by replacing one of the resistors by a potentiometer. I wasn't pleased with the default dusk/dawn threshold and applied the change as described here, works remarkably well.

Maximum number of Oregon Sensors

Hi Bert, On the Oregon page on the RFXCOM website it is mentioned that : The maximum number of sensors per category is limited by the number of channels available on the sensors in each category. Would this mean that channels in each category are not affected by channels in other categories. Could I...
