I will borrow an old laptop from work to get this thing done.

Re: Parental Control in 2016. How do you do it?
Whitelist: could be a solution for younger kids. But for a 9 year old, it probably is a very time-intensive solution. As every time my daughter is researching the internet for homework assignments I would have to keep adding websites to the whitelist. My assumption (naive?) is that a proper router c...

Re: plugwise usage on washingmachine/create trigger
I have homeseer but use an approach you might use. Whenever my machines uses less than x watt I set a timer. The timer stops and resets whenever the watt becomes more than x. When the timer reaches y minutes it sends a push message. It cost me three rounds to determine the closest y possible. But, ...

Re: Fingerprint Lock - advise?
W.r.t. to the Rex (or any other fingerprint reader for outdoor use), there are a couple of issues to be aware off if you are going to install it on an outside door: 1. What is its IP rating? I could not find any IP rating for the REX so not sure how weather-proof the thing is for outside usage. I di...

Re: FritzBox 3.0 beschikbaar
Hi RdP
(I will do it in English)
Is it a suggestion if you contact Fritz.box to request re-adding TelNet functionality in their next firmware update?
I´m sure they are unaware that they have now disappointed some (many?) users and that they probably don´t know about your plugin.
Just a thought
