yes , i did a cross cut in the bottom : 4 quaters --> 1 quarter UP , 2 quarted DOWN , 3 quarter UP , 4 quarter DOWN. Do you have some News about chassis ?

Evolution : this panel was born for this reason : low down the moisture , increase rooms temp. by using hot hair, this will be done obviuosly during winter. Use HSTOUCH, creates an interface and use a simple IPOD touch over wifi. the new version , retina display, is really great.

wood was first idea , simple to buy and to construct.
but it's heavier , you must carry it on your roof...
years of water , snow , wind, sun outside : you must repaint it every "x" years and be careful to not paint the front face.
Alluminium is better, just my 2 cts.

dimension is relative : i mean as bigger is, as more heat could generate. then we must consider the can dimensions : mine are 0.50 lt of beer (oh oh this summer i drunk 224 cans = 112 lts :D :D ) and are 17 cms tall. you must think what dimension you need and then calculate how many can-columns and ...

12 cm pc fan , that "makes" 80 CFM = 135,93 m3/h

fan is , for today powered by a 12v psu, but i have a ready to use photovoltaic panel (10watt) to mount aside the air-panel
