Re: HomeSeer & VR

Re: Visonic Powerlink2 Hacked

I just received my Powerlink2, and hacked some PHP together to (dis)arm my system. All working fine ;) While running WireShark on my network I discovered the PowerLink2 is sending data back to (I assume) Visonic. It also includes the login username. I cant see any reason they would need to know when...

HomeSeer & VR

Hoi!

Re: Irobot Roomba 560 vacuum cleaner

I was wondering if anyone here has gotten the IRTrans to work with Roomba. I ordered the IR remote control as posted here, but IRTrans seems to be unable to learn commands from this remote. The binary code that shows up in the .REM file is very short, and obviously it does not work. The IR remote se...

Alter um7206: Pulse option

Hi, I want to start my iRobot Roomba when I turn on my alarm system. To accomplish this I bought 2 um7206's which I've connected to the Roomba remote control. The idea was that when I switch the alarm on the um7206 will press 'Clean'. This doesnt work because the 'pulse' option for the um7206 has a ...

Re: TI103

TI103

iPad lookalike?

Just came across this. Could be something, as it runs Windows so you're not limited to Apple's AppStore.

Price is a bit high though. $599.

Re: 2nd RFXMeter not working?

Alright. Fixed it :) 2nd RFXMeter has indeed the same address as my first unit, so the address needs to be adjusted. I didn't get from reading the manual that it helpt you through its 'setup menu' using RFreceiver. I thought it was done 'reading' the LED status. I changed the module address.

2nd RFXMeter not working?

I just received my second RFXMeter, plugged it in.. wanted to add new device in HomeSeer... Nothing :) HomeSeer doesnt seem to 'hear' the additional RFXMeter. I've read in the RFXPulse manual that by default all units are shipped with the same address. Is that also true for RFXMeter? I tried to chan...

Re: Very old power meter

I would definitely recommend the RFXPwr. It was very easy to hook up (just clamp to your phase) and your ready to go. My gas meter doesn't have a reflective pad on the zero and I found it very difficult to get correct readings. Even now I'm still missing halve of my gas usage. (But must admit, didnt...
