Re: How to start? Looking for a Howto!

For your info. I just tried a newly purchased HE motion sensor (HE851). It identifies as: 2011/08/09 23:06:00 20906F18E72011/08/09 23:06:00 [Devices] Device 'X10' with address 'C04' and interface '' not found! C4-On bits=32 So I created a device with the X10 identification (C04), which is .... KaKu ...

Re: Multiple Actions in Domotiga

@Ron,
I'm not using PLCBUS, but the RFXCom stuff. Also noticed that the delay action can only be used once per event. Would this update also solve that issue?
thx

Re: How to start? Looking for a Howto!

Wiechert, The identification of your device is 0579ba UNIT=1. My guess is that you should enter the address as 0579ba1. The problem I see is that this HE332EU set uses the new identification protocol (not the A1 type but the 0579ba1-type). I can catch these signals with the RFX-receiver (using the H...

Re: How to start? Looking for a Howto!

A question?: 1. does Domotiga handle the paring with new devices for/ through RFXLAN? Or do I need to pair al devices first in RFXLAN first before I can use them in Domotiga? No you do not need to pair the devices in the RFXCom, at least not with the devices I use (KaKu and Elro). However, you can ...

Re: How to start? Looking for a Howto!

Ehhh... shouldn't this device have 8 digits as identifier? With KaKu there are 7bits identifying the device and 1 (last) identifying switch 1 or 2 of the (sender)device. My receiver expects 8 hex codes, in my example: 048B4662 . The last '2' identifies the 2nd switch in the (sender)device. Don;t kno...

Re: How to start? Looking for a Howto!

Hi Wiechert, I kind of recognize your desperacy. For me it has been kind of a struggle to get it up and running. Once thought of writing a simple HowTo for dummies, but alas, no time. I have KiKa devices alone, cannot say anything about HomeEasy, although the setup may be comparable. From memory I'l...

Any gsm modem know to work with DomotiGa

Hi, I'd like to do some remote controlling and checking of my devices through Domotiga. On the website, there is info on a Falcom gsm modem alone, but this device is not for sale anymore (could not find it). I've found all kind of other modems (Wavecom (eg the Sierrra, USB), Siemens, Telematik, etc)...

Can I receive X10 signals from the powerline into DomotiGa?

Hi, Maybe I'm not searching at the right place, but I cannot figure out if it is possible to receive X10 triggers or status information from X10 devices (like from teh AWM2P switch) into DomotiGa. I do have an RFXreceiver, but I'm not sure if it can handle e.g. signal from a CM11/CM15 tranceiver. Wh...

Re: RFXcom (lan) with DomotiGa (for KAKU)

OK guys, after some experimenting I succeeded in what I wanted to achieve. And want to share it with other newbies... :) Since the timer (delay) function is not working as I expected (previously started delay-actions are ignored) and it is somewhat unreliable, I searched for another solution. Why is...

Re: RFXcom (lan) with DomotiGa (for KAKU)

Ahh... I understand, we're part of a nice fairy tale :) Hope there once will come a good fairy which will make all your (and our....) dreams come true!!! OK, another question, which may be KAKU-related (or ARC). simplified: I have 2 KAKU lamp switches B1 and B16. I made events that turn them of 600 ...

Re: RFXcom (lan) with DomotiGa (for KAKU)

OK, clear. To see which protocol is required you can watch the log and select the Device which is mentioned in e.g. 2011/03/18 21:31:30 20708F609F2011/03/18 21:31:30 [Devices] ==> Device 'X10' <== with address 'B05' and interface '' not found! If the device is not in the dropdown list, select any de...

Re: RFXcom (lan) with DomotiGa (for KAKU)

You're right, in fact the signal comes from an (old) TMT 2100 remote control of KAKU. Furthermore my transmitters are the wallmount wst8700. All devices in my house are the older model with 2 switch-wheels. The only transmitter in the standard list of Domotiga is the AWST8802, couldn't find older tr...

Re: RFXcom (lan) with DomotiGa (for KAKU)

Of course it is clear that you cannot control a KAKU transmitter, only read its signal (On or Off). DomotiGa actually detects the signal but it seems to be impossible to activate a DomotiGa trigger by catching Value1="B7-On" / Value1="B7-Off" (or just "0n" or "Off&...

Re: RFXcom (lan) with DomotiGa (for KAKU)

OK, the toggle option does work!. Great With respect to the remote, I find this in the logs (yes, receiver is installed, and I do receive a signal, and the signal is shown in the logs): 2011/03/16 19:20:31 20708F48B7 B7-On bits=32 2011/03/16 19:20:31 20708F48B7 B7-On bits=32 2011/03/16 19:20:31 2070...

Re: RFXcom (lan) with DomotiGa (for KAKU)

Thanks Ron, All settings were correct, however there were 2 issues, which may have been a problem. 1. I changed language to Dutch. Then it stored "waarde1" in the database, instead of "value", as value for the parameter name. 2. I created the 'toggle' switch (nice idea!). But the...
