Extjs works very well and is fast. License structure might be a problem though. Anyway, I like the setup of a frontend backend setup. Would be great if we could use a small linux router as the backend instead of a full blown server.

Sonos vs. Logitech - What do you think
Considering the specs of what is HIFI. Anything that can play sound seems to apply.
Saying the squeezebox is not Hifi is a bit weird. Soundquality is very good (better than most surround receivers) and can be improved by using an additional DAC. If you only play MP3, there both decent enough.

I'm a user of the slimserver / squeezecenter for years. Currently I'm using a windows mobile application as a remote control called slimcontrol. Looks realy nice but is a work in progress. Most functions are already there so it's usable. Most of the software of squeezecenter is opensource and the ap...

Wow, good start. I'm currently running two xbmc setups. Also I'm using Domotiga as central controller. Can't wait to see the XBMC class for Domotiga. I'm also busy with whole house audio with squeezecenter and squeezebox. For control I'm planning to use the devices from Heino Peters. Currently a bit...

Electronics (circuits) - Where to begin?
Why not start with the book "Domotica" from Heino Peters. Lot of electronics to give you an insight in control and domotica.

I'm more interested in the new squeezebox duet that has been rumoured. It should be a more slim version of the current duet remote. Have not seen any pictures on the net, just an announcement.

Hello RDNZL,
I saw in previous posts you have been busy with the devices from Heino Peters book. Have you implemented or are you goning to implement this protocol in Domotiga?
I'm currently busy with these devices and might use Domotiga to control those.
