Re: Powerlink serial pinout, linux daemon and web interface

Is your usercode 1234 ?? Please set it (decimal format)
I've tried it with both 1234 and my own installation code. None of them work.
When do I have to send a, d, g?
Is it in the debug of running pmaxd?

Re: Powerlink serial pinout, linux daemon and web interface

Just to give something back to the devvers out here. I'm building a native android application to control the alarm and receive messages via "Google Cloud Messaging for Android". For an other project I've got it all working, just need to rebuild it to make use of it for the powermax. I'm n...

Re: Powerlink serial pinout, linux daemon and web interface

Yes, I've tried several possibilities: - I've tried also a prolific usb -> TTL converter - started pmaxd, after a few seconds enabled plink via powermax pannel. - enabled plink via powermax pannel, and within 1 second started pmaxd But nothing...... I've also ordered a WR703N yesterday, to learn abo...

Re: Powerlink serial pinout, linux daemon and web interface

I've hooked up a logic analyzer and do see some bits are send from the pi when I start the pmaxd program. But the horrible thing I notice.... When I measure the output of the visonic powermax tx, I don't measure anything when I want to learn the plink. Could it be my serial of the powermax never wor...

Re: Powerlink serial pinout, linux daemon and web interface

Thank you for the fast reply ayasystems. I've used your new MakeFile from domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=68& ... 430#p70430 . You get the compile message Makefile:8: *** missing separator. Stop. In the editor, replace the spaced indents that with tabs and this is also solved (I'm learning alon...

Re: Powerlink serial pinout, linux daemon and web interface

Hi, I've connected the raspberry pi with the UART directly to the powermax RX, TX and GND. When I run screen screen /dev/ttyAMA0 9600 and enter on the powermax menu the install of the powerlink I don't see any characters comming in on the screen. I'm not sure if anyone else does see something when t...

Re: Control Powermax via RaspberryPi

I've used a USB ttl adapter. But it doesn't matter which client, right?
I just need to know which codes to send to the controller.

Re: Control Powermax via RaspberryPi

I haven't put any energy in the project as I was stuck on receiving any serial data from the powermax. Maybe I have to powerdown the main powermax controller, just cut the AC and battery's so it get's a hard-reset. I still have all the hardware, but I'm unsure if I have to run the windows programmin...

Control Powermax via RaspberryPi

Hi, I would like to control my Powermax via the RaspberryPi, with a web gui. Eventually I want to control the Powermax via an android app. I found some hardware in my box and tried to connect my Pi via an USB-serial converter to the Powermax connector. my usb-serial device has an old prolific chip w...

Touchscreen only (no pc needed)

Hello, I'm in the middle of rebuilding my house and came up with the idea to install a (capacitive) touch-screen in the wall. It doesn't need a pc, as I'm thinking of building a small low-powered linux system to run a webserver, which will be the frontend I'm going to use. Does anyone have pointers ...

Dusk/Dawn sensor
