Re: IP Cams or Videoserver with cctv cams?
Aside from practicalities, budget often plays a role in this decision. I'll elaborate a little more tomorrow, I really need to hit the sack now. UPDATE: Some things to keep in mind: 1. Your budget 2. Whether you have the opportunity to run cables all through the location. 3. Whether you need ...

PS: You should start by indicating for which HA system (homeseer, vera etc) Other than that I suppose you could build a web page for it?

Re: RGB LED Chromoflex Setup for a Newbie
Hi, All the above. I have no special recommendation regarding which LEDs to buy States-side.But LED strips come in various sizes, colors and amount of LED's per foot, so finding a white strip should be no problem. The weatherproofed strips come in a silicone (?) sheeth maybe that would work better f...

Re: Launchport
That looks like it could be an interesting product, but once again the price is too steep imho. These things should not exceed a 100-150$ for a sleeve+dock. If I have to spend almost the price of an iPad on a dock/frame system, I'd rather buy a second iPad...

Re: Mobotix M10 blurry night image
Correct, you can clearly see that these images weren't taken in total darkness and there are lightsources present (IR or not IR). (lots of reflections from the lightsources can be seen and I think I even saw two halogens (maybe bouwlampen))spattex wrote:i think it's ir illimunated.

Re: Mobotix M10 exposure question
The 'clearer' you want your video the farther below 1/25th of a second you need to go. (= 1/30, 1/48, 1/60 etc).
