Pluginteresse?

Test programma domotica interface

Cheap PIC processors

If your building or continue to build on this project, Microchip ( http://www.microchip.com ) has a discount on the PIC16F84/04 used in the interface and I/O modules. They are at 1.55 Euro a piece (at Conrad they are at 11.2 nowadays, and yes the dot is in the correct place [:)]). While you pay arou...

Separate energy consumption monitoring

Digit, I have quite a few of them laying around but(like you) I'm not planning to build my HA system around them. As you may know, I still have to start basically from scratch. They'll be nice for testing some stuff probably. Thanks for the offer anyway. Seems like my next research will have to go t...

Separate energy consumption monitoring

I guess with a combination of time monitoring for fix power consumers (lights) and Plugwise for individual consumers one goes a long way. I'm eagerly following the experiences with Plugwise. @Digit While browsing your domotica album I saw some picture of remote control plugs of the "Flamingo&qu...

Integration in global HA setup

I'm interested to check out the possibilities of this HA solution but I was wondering at what level people have already integrated it in their global HA setup. Quite a few people seem to have build it but I guess the integration in existing (commercial or self-written) software is not a trivial matt...

Separate energy consumption monitoring

Is there anyone who monitors their energy consumption more precisely than the global KWh? For example lighting, continuous consumers (fridge etc), washing... I saw the Conrad Energy Control 3000 but this seems not popular (see http://www.domoticaforum.eu/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=268) ). I guess for lights...

Another newbie...

Yes, the starterkits were where I was looking at. However most of them have the "external" lamp and appliance switches in the bundle. Althought that is of course much easier for experimenting, what I would need in the end is the micromodules so I wanted to see if this was possible. Thanks ...

Another newbie...

Hi all, Well this is a very newbie kind of post as I really have to start my domotics setup from scratch. But that means that you guys still motivate others to go into home automation! The difficult thing about this is of course how to get started, with the overwhelming amount of options. I've been ...
