Re: Recent experience with Somfy homemotion Tahoma
Somfy RTS can be controlled by RFXcom. Somfy IO iswed by Tohoma is still a closed protocol. It would be nice if the Somfy IO protocol could be used on other devices as well. I do not want the Tahoma BOX and soldering is also not the road I wish to follow. Some people are trying to hack the Somfy IO ...

Re: Measuring water usage with Elster M100 MNR-S
Hi,
I saw this solution: http://zil.olammi.iki.fi/sw/dialEye/. This should work for the Elster M100 water meter or probably any analog watermeter. Cons are you need to buy a cheap IP camera and need to run Python. Pros are that it will save you some plumbers work on the water piping.

Thanks Nlrb, this works. Only thing I did not know was to use the configured port instead of 23.

Re: Will an UK MKP-150 work on a NL PMPro panel?
I have it the other way arround. I have a Uk powermax pro with a dutch keypad. This combination works fine. I bought some of my devices in the uk because thy recheaper there. Most of the uk shops will send to europe. Shipping charges are high so you haveto buy more stuff to vet a good businescase.

Re: rolluikmotoren
I noticed Homewizard supports Somfy http://www.homewizard.nl/zonwering.html. Most devices they support work over 433mhz? Did they reverse engineer the Somfy protcol or did they buy the protcol? What they did, can this be done for RFxcom as well?

Re: Visonic sensors
Maybe you could ask a question at http://www.alarmforum.de. Otherwise set Google to search only German pages with Visonic as your keyword. You will find serveral shops like shop.strato.de/epages/15435740.sf/de_AT ... 0868MHz%22. Mark

Re: Visonic Powerlink2
I was a bit surprised by the above documentation that Visonic promotes their My Visonic App so actively. This means the Powerlink2 can be registered directly at Visonic.com (without a service subscription at a alarm-station ??? ). I found this thread http://www.diysecurityforum.com/index.php?topic=2...

Re: Conenct Ajax-Kidde heat/fire detector to Visonic MCT-302
I didn't want to change too much as the current setup works fine. The Ajax-Kidde heat/fire detecters are integrated in the House and make use of the 220Volt, which I considered as a plus. This setup has about now the same functionality, though less userfriendly. EG Ajax-Kidde also manages the batt s...

Visonic Remote Programmer
If you have the rs232 option for the Powermax it might be interesting to know that in January 2012 Visonic released a new version of the Remote Programmer. Don't know what changed in this release. It can be downloaded directly from visonic visonic.com/download-center/type=59730/ ... 730/page=1 The f...
