I am not sure, as i am running from a rfbee and am on a 1st generation evotouch. So i am usb connected with the rfbee on a windows machine and you use the script option on the pi platform. You could try the find command on the pi from the root this should search your installation for the file evocon...

It is!

If you added the hardware ( interface ) its a mater of adding the devices under the device menu. ( green or blue icon with arrow )
In my case it took a few minutes before they all appeared in the device list, as there has to be a form of communication.
